Privacy Policy

Showing Bell ("Showing Bell", "we", "us") provides showing-scheduling software to real-estate listing agents. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: hello@showingbell.com.

Information we collect

• Account data — the name, email, brokerage, and password you provide when you create an account.
• Listing & showing data — property details you enter; the name, email, phone, and brokerage of buyer's agents (or unrepresented buyers) who request showings; the notes and post-showing feedback they submit; and seller contact details you add for approvals.
• Payment data — subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers; we retain only a Stripe customer/subscription reference and plan status.
• Technical data — IP address and browser user-agent on form submissions, for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

To operate the service: create scheduling links, route showing requests to sellers and agents, send transactional email and SMS notifications, collect post-showing feedback, process billing, and secure the platform. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

SMS messages

We send transactional SMS (showing requests, confirmations, feedback prompts) only to people for whom an authorized user has confirmed consent. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of further messages at any time, or HELP for help. Opting out suppresses future messages to that number.

Who we share it with

To do its job, the service routes personal data between the people in a showing. When a showing is requested, we share the requester's contact details, showing details, and any feedback with the listing agent and, where applicable, their seller for that property — that routing is the product. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

We also rely on service providers that make the product work: Supabase (database hosting), Cloudflare (application hosting, security, and bot protection), Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), and Google (Gmail API and Google Fonts, to send and style email and pages on the account's behalf). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and its users, and we may share aggregated, non-identifying statistics.

Retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. You can request deletion of your account data by emailing us.

Your choices

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your account information by emailing hello@showingbell.com, and you can edit your listings and account details from within the app. You may opt out of SMS by replying STOP at any time.

Security

Access tokens are stored hashed, sessions use secure cookies, and payment secrets are held only by our processors. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
